We hold monthly time trials of a winter 6.5k route (Oct-Mar), and summer 5k and 10k routes (Apr-Sep).
The purpose of these are to introduce some speed work into your training and give you the chance to see your progress over the months. Runners from all groups are encouraged to participate and start times are staggered according to pace, so no one is left behind and everyone finishes at roughly the same time.
